Fashion Illustration: Hand + Digital

Today, fashion designers and fashion illustrators work with both digital and hand-drawn techniques, innovating new combinations of how to mix different media into expressive, technical illustrations or collections. This course explores hand drawing techniques; the principals of basic silhouette drawing, proportion, understanding volume and textile rendering, as well as the basic skills of digital techniques. Students will learn how to incorporate these two different techniques in order to develop a clothing collection and an individual style.
