The course is first and foremost practically oriented, including theoretical lectures with the city of Paris as setting. Students will create real scenarios with practical themes including; fashion styling; editorial fashion photography; look-book photography; fashion campaign photography; lighting techniques and trend-reporting photography from the streets of Paris. All photo shoots will use professional fashion models from prestigious Parisian agencies with lectures on the history of fashion photography hosted by Parisian-based stylists, art-directors and designers as well as visits to current fashion events and exhibitions that are linked to the Parisian Fashion Photography. The class will work as closely as possible with the real fashion world of Paris.
